Classical Yang Style - Long Form

The Long Form is a lot longer than the Short Form and is performed with a more visual martial intent. It inludes all the same basic moves more often repeated, plus a few new ones. The list of moves below cannot replace what is learnt by attending a course with a qualified instructor.  If you are interested or already take part in any of the other martial arts then a course with Tony is highly recommended.

Classical Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan Long Form

The Long Form starts off practically the same as the Short Form (up to about 34). The additional familiar moves that have been inserted are shown in green. The text in blue shows the familiar 'Grasp Sparrows Tail' repeated routine. The text in red shows the new moves that are unique to the Long Form. The rest are all repeated moves from the Short Form and the finish (from 145) is the same.
